Tata Nano EV-Most Affordable Electric Vehicle in India 2022

The Tata Nano EV or electric car is now added to Ratan Tata’s garage. This car is built by Electra EV with a range of 160km on a single charge and a top speed of 110 km.

In the month of February 2022, Electra EV shared a post of the new Tata Nano EV with Mr. Ratan Tata who was a former chairman of TATA Group. Electrodrive Powertrain Solutions or Electra EV is a company formed by Tata Group that provides EV powertrain solutions for electric vehicles including Tata Motors

Every Indian knows the name ‘Tata Nano’, the most affordable four-wheeler car made by Tata Motors. The mission behind this car was to reach every Indian’s home or better to say that the car was made for middle-class and lower-middle-class of Rs just 1 lakh*.

Now the company has a new objective to reach everyone’s home like before in a way that helps Indian people as well as the environment. The car has been modified with a 72-volt electronic hatchback system powered by Electra EV powertrain. The new identity will be known as the ‘Tata Nano EV‘.

Tata Nano Electric Car Price, Launch, and Range

The new Tata Nano electric car price is yet to be announced by the company ( I guess somewhere near about Rs 3 lakh or above). The company is expected to produce 10 cars by the year 2025. The expected range of this car may be 150 to 160 kilometers per charge and a top speed of 110 kilometers.

Upcoming Tata Nano EV Features and Specifications

The features of the Tata Nano have not been revealed yet to the market but it is expected that the specification and features more or less may be the same as the petrol-powered Tata Nano offered. Let’s see some of them-

Inside the car, the car has enough space and a fresh interior design but it has no sunroof facility. The car has an infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster inside. In terms of exterior design, the car may be the same as a normal Tata Nano car because it will be custom built from that previous car. It has outside rearview mirrors on both sides and has body-colored bumpers.
